Int’l day persons with disabilities on Dec 03
ISLAMABAD, NOV 29 (DNA) –The International Day of persons with disabilities shall be observed on December 03 and all necessary preparation shave been made.
The Director General of Special Education Mrs Ishrat Masood said this on Thursday. She further said December 03 of every year is observed with objective to promote awareness of disability issues, fundamental rights of persons with disabilities and integration of persons with disabilities.
She further said the day extends an opportunity to initialize action to reach the target of full and equal pleasure to human rights and contribution to society by disabled persons, launched by the World Program of Action for Disabled persons in 1982.

She said, this year too the Directorate of Special Education is celebrating the day at PNCA in collaboration with international and national non-governmental organizations.
People hailing from different walks of life have been invited to be part of these celebrations in order to encourage special children to excel in their lives.
The special children will also present tableau performances on the occasion. =DNA
