PTI completes 100 days amid accomplishments and non-fulfilments

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led government on Wednesday has completed its first 100 days after coming into power amid high expectations.
During its 100 days, the PTI government enthusiastically launched steps to implement some of its pledges however, it was failed to fulfill its remaining tall claims.
No reforms have been made in police department, laws of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and local body system.
The task force’s work to bring back laundered money under austerity campaign was continued in the right direction.
The PTI government conducted several cabinet meetings to discuss country’s problems and their solutions. Various decisions regarding ban on ministers’ foreign medical treatments and tours and use of all discretionary funds.
Work on constructing 5 million houses under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme and plantation of 10 billion trees was in full swing.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that response received so far both from the local investors as well as foreign investors and overseas Pakistanis towards Naya Pakistan Housing Project was encouraging.
Under austerity campaign, auction of PM House cars and buffaloes was carried out while decision to turn PM House into university was also approved.
On the other hand, the claim regarding PM to travel abroad on common flight was not implemented as Imran Khan used official plane for foreign tours.
No work has been started on providing one crore jobs to the people and making South Punjab a new province.
