FM Qureshi says energy projects with Tajikistan to be completed
ISLAMABAD, NOV 26(DNA) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan greatly values its relations with Tajikistan and looks forward to completing all projects .
The minister said this while talking to Ambassador of Tajikistan Sherali Jononov. The Minister said that Pakistan and Tajikistan had very historical relations. He said Pakistan is keen on enhancing its relations with Tajikistan and other Central Asian States also.
The minister thanked the Tajik ambassador for great hospitality extended to him during his last visit to Tajikistan. He congratulated the Tajik leadership for hosting the event in such a nice manner.
The Tajik ambassador also assured the minister that his country will do its best to help overcome energy needs of Pakistan.
He said CASA 1000 project is in the final stages and once completed will sufficiently meet energy requirements of Pakistan.=DNA
