Rainfall in northern Balochistan ends dry spell

QUETTA, NOV 22 (DNA) – The winter has reached its freezing intensity in Quetta, Qalat, Chaman and other parts of northern Balochistan after rainfall on Thursday.
The met office has predicted light rains at various places in northern Pakistan. The rainfall at various places in Balochistan has blessed the province by ending the ongoing dry spell in the region.
In the rainy spell, Quetta, Qalat, Musakhel, Qilla Abdullah, Pishin, Chaman and other cities received rainfall pushing the mercury down in the region. Several low-lying areas submerged in the incessant rainfall.
The met department has forecast more rains in Quetta and Zhob divisions in Balochistan. The weather advisory has also predicted light rainfall in Islamabad, Murree, Peshawar, Chitral, Dir, Malakand, Hazara and Mardan divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan regions and light snowfall at hills. DNA
