KARACHI, NOV 11 (DNA): The 10th four-day International Defence Exhibition and Seminar IDEAS-2018 will commence on 27th of this month at Karachi Expo Center.

Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to inaugurate the exhibition. Delegates from 48 countries will participate in the exhibition.

12 conferences and service conferences will also be organized during the exhibition and a commemorative stamp regarding the IDEAS-2018 will also be launched.

The event is significantly being commemorated through enhanced participation of Pakistan Armed Forces, national and international defence industry, OEMs, entrepreneurs and high level national and international defence delegations. The new features are aimed to make IDEAS as an effective platform for defence Buyers and Sellers.

In this regard, Armed Forces of Pakistan (Army, Navy and Air Force) are specifically holding respective Service conference at KEC from 28-29 November 2018.

These conferences, participated by respected Services’ Chiefs, Senior civil – military officials, local and foreign delegates, OEMs, trade visitors and heads of defence procurement agencies will dilate upon modernization plans of Armed Forces and growth requirements of defence industry with national and international stakeholders.
