Judiciary, police systems being introduced in tribal districts: Farman
PESHAWAR, NOV 11 (DNA) – Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman has said the decision regarding merger of erstwhile FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cannot be reversed and Prime Minister Imran Khan has ensured providing due share of FATA in National Finance Commission Award.
Talking to a private news channel in Peshawar, he said judiciary and police systems are also being introduced in the tribal districts.
The Governor, while rejecting the misperception about ending of quota for students of FATA said that those who are not giving admission to them are doing wrong.
He said the government is taking decisions for the benefit of majority people and those who are opposing this merger have their personal interests.
Shah Farman said Pakistan is taking measures to make its border with Afghanistan more secure through fencing.=DNA
