FC Balochistan averts major terrorist bid
RAWALPINDI (DNA) – The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan on Monday averted a major terrorist bid and recovered 21 improvised explosive devices from the border town of Qamar Din Karaiz, district Zhob in Balochistan province.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, FC Balochistan conducted an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Qamar Din Karaiz and recovered 21 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) of different weights (total weight 235 kg).
The EDs were to be used to target the Muharram processions in various parts of the province. The IBO was carried out as part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
