ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – : President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev has congratulated Dr. Arif Alvi on being elected as President of Pakistan, on Wednesday.

“We greatly value our friendly relations with Pakistan and we will join efforts with the country to scale new heights of our all-weather strategic cooperative partnership,” President of Azerbaijan added.

Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations enjoy good traditions. Current high level of the relations between our states, stemming from the will of our brotherly peoples, clearly expresses these traditions.

I am convinced that we will endeavor together to further preserve and strengthen our strategic partnership and to continue successfully our cooperation based on mutual trust and support in future.
