COAS Bajwa calls on PM Imran to discuss security
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at PM Office (Monday).
Matters related to security were discussed, moreover, both the civil-military bigwigs expressed resolve to bring enduring peace and stability in the country while also continuing efforts for regional peace.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan paid his first visit to the General Headquarters (GHQ) after assuming charge on Thursday to discuss the crucial security-related issues with the military leadership.
Upon arrival, PM Khan was presented guard of honor by a smartly turned out guard. The Prime Minister laid a floral wreath at the Shuhada monument to pay tribute to the martyrs. He was introduced to all PSOs of the GHQ.
