Saudi Arabia announces scholarships for students from Balochistan
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Saudi Arabia has announced fifty scholarships for the poor and underprivileged students from Balochistan in undergraduate and graduate programmes at renowned Saudi universities.
The kingdom took this step on the request of Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani.
In this regard, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Syed Al-Maliki called on the chairman and briefed him about the scholarships besides exchanging views on matters of mutual interests.
He said the fully funded scholarships will be provided to students with tuition fee and other necessary expenses besides a stipend to cater for the monthly expenses. He said the number of scholarships will be doubled next year to facilitate more students from Balochistan.
Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani thanked the Saudi government for this generous gesture to help students from Balochistan.
