Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal likely to be elected as next President of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, (DNA): The daughter-in-law of the Thinker of Pakistan Dr Allma Muhammad Iqbal, Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal is likely to be elected as the next president of Pakistan in September 2018. She could be the first woman president of Pakistan.

The name of former chairman senate, former caretaker prime minister and newly elected MNA of PTI from Jacobabad Muhammad Mian Soomro was also presented for the next president of the country; however the name of Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal is being considered for the next president of the country.

According to sources, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has been given suggestion to elect Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal as next president of Pakistan.

Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal is the wife of late Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal. Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal is also mother of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Waleed Iqbal.

the nominated prime minister of PTI, Imran Khan has given positive response on the suggestion to elect Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal as next president of Pakistan on the completion of tenure of incumbent President Mamnoon Hussain in September 2018. After Imran Khan’s positive response on the suggestion the preparations are under consideration for electing Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal as next president of Pakistan.

The suggestion is also gaining appreciation in PTI and serious consultation has been started on this suggestion.

Some circles are of the view that the opposition parties could also support the suggestion as Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal is the daughter-in-law of the Thinker of Pakistan Dr Allma Muhammad Iqbal.

The next president of the country will take oath of office on 9th September 2018. The incumbent President Mamnoon Hussain will retire as president after completing his term on 8th September. All four provincial assemblies, senate and nationalassembly will elect the new president of the country.
