IHC restores ECP’s notice to Imran Khan for violating code of conduct
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday restored Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) show cause notice to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan for violating code of conduct in by-poll.
A single bench comprised of Justice Amir Farooq conducted hearing. The court had reserved decision on April 26.
The court while dismissing Khan’s plea against ECP’s decision restored the show cause notice.
The notice was sent to the PTI chief for holding rallies in Lahore, Shaiwal and Lodhran after which the bderdict was challenged in IHC.
