PTI issues ticket to PML-Q’s Raja Basharat for PP-14 Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, (DNA) – As part of seat adjustment plan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday issued ticket to Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Raja Basharat for PP-14 rawalpindi.
Raja Basharat is a senior leader of the PML-Q and had served as minister for law Punjab.
Earlier, the PTI had issued ticket to its candidate Zayad Kiyani, however, later the ticket was issued Raja Basharat.
When contacted by Dunya News, the PML-Q leader confirmed being awarded PTI ticket, however, he said that he had not parted ways with his party.
He said he had not joined the ranks of PTI and he would only contest election from the PTI ticket.
