Pakistan awards Jinnah Scholarship to over 300 Sri Lankan students
KANDY, (DNA) – Pakistan has awarded scholarships to over three hundred Sri Lankan students under Jinnah Scholarships Scheme.
A ceremony to this effect was held in Sri Lankan city of Kandy.
Applauding the successful students, the Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan, Janbaz Khan reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to contribute in enhancing Sri Lanka’s younger generation’s prospects for better educational opportunities.
The scholarships scheme was launched in 2006 and has since benefited 1800 Lankan students so far.
