TEHRAN, APR 18 (DNA) – Tehran and Beijing have held talks on nuclear cooperation on China building small nuclear plant in Iran , the head of Majlis (Parliament) nuclear commission said.

Commenting on his presence in Iran-China joint nuclear cooperation conference, Mojtaba Zonnuri said the conference was hosted by China and participated by representatives of P5+1 countries.

The conference was very fruitful and both sides presented their opinions, he added.

‘We also visited Chinese nuclear plants,’ he said.

He went on to say that the issue of constructing the nuclear plant in Iran was welcomed by China.

He also expressed hope for development of cooperation with other countries.

Currently, Iran is engaged in nuclear cooperation with Russia, Zonnuri added.
