Pakistan, Palestine had strong historical relations: Raja Zafar Ul Haq

ISLAMABAD, APR 13 (DNA) – Leader of the House in the Senate Raja Zafar ul Haq has said Pakistan and Palestine had strong bilateral historical, religious, and brotherly relations.
Addressing the lunch ceremony organized in the honor of Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Walid Abu Ali who is leaving his six years services in Pakistan, he said Pakistan always fully support the stance of Palestinian at every forum, a news release said.
He said Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah whenever talked about Pakistan, he also raised his voice for the freedom of Palestine, adding the resolution of Palestine was also passed besides the resolution of Pakistan in 1940.
Raja Zafar said the Palestinian people were fighting a war for the freedom since last one hundred years. Leader of the House while lauding the marvelous services of the going ambassador, said he earned a lot of respect in Pakistan and established the new building of the embassy.
He wished a better future for the Walid Abu Ali and said he would highlight the demand of the people of Palestine and Kashmir at every forum.
Palestine is the major issue of Middle East, he said adding that the peace cannot be restored till the resolution of the Palestinian issue.
