PSL 2018: Islamabad United beat Multan Sultans
DUBAI, FEB 25 (DNA) – Islamabad United beat Multan Sultans by five wickets in the sixth fixture of Pakistan Super League (PSL) third edition at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.
At times it felt as if Sultans will make it, but United finally made the grade by constant slashing. Hussain Talat played the unbeaten match-winning strike in chase for 114 runs.
Only Chadwick Walton and Hussain Talat could resist against Sultans’ belligerent bowling club, otherwise all the team had crumbled easily.
Imran Tahir delivered the most economical spell for Sultans with 3 for 19 off four overs. While, Junaid Khan and Mohammad Irfan managed to grab one wicket each.
Earlier, Islamabad United managed to restrict Multan Sultans to 113 runs.
