Indonesian President arrives in Islamabad on two-day visit
ISLAMABAD, JAN 25 (DNA) – Indonesian President Joko Widodo is arriving in Islamabad today on a two-day visit to Pakistan.
The visiting dignitary will address the joint session of Parliament today. Joko Widodo will be the second President of Indonesia who will address the Joint Sitting of the Parliament.
Earlier, President of Indonesia Dr. Ahmed Soekarno had addressed the National Assembly of Pakistan on 26th June 1963.
President Mamnoon Hussain will host a state banquet in honor of the visiting dignitary.
Tomorrow, Joko Widodo will hold one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to be followed by delegation level talks between the two countries. Various agreements and MoUs will be signed on the occasion.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Indonesian President Joko Widodo will also address a joint press conference.
The Prime Minister will hold a luncheon in honor of the visiting dignitary.
