Pakistan supports peace, stability in Yemen: Nasser Khan Janjua
ISLAMABAD, JAN 02 (DNA) – Ambassador of Yemen, Mohammad Motahar Alashabi called on National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. (R) Nasser Khan Janjua on Tuesday.
During the meeting they exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and security situation.
The Ambassador briefed NSA on the latest security situation in Yemen. Ambassador thanked Pakistan for support to the people of Yemen and expressed desire for more scholarships for Yemeni students.
NSA expressed deep sympathies on behalf of people of Pakistan for suffering Yemeni people and said that Pakistan wants peaceful resolution of the conflict in Yemen under the UN process and GCC deal and also in line with the resolution by the parliament of Pakistan.
Both sides decided to continue to work together for improving the bilateral relationship.=DNA
