Asif Zardari condemns Quetta terror attack

ISLAMABAD, Dec 17 (DNA): Former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned suicide attack on a Church on Sunday in Quetta killing several people and injuring many more.

Expressing deep grief over the loss of precious innocent lives who were praying at the time, the former President vowed that the PPP would stand by the side of the Christian brethren and indeed all non-Muslim in the fight against all manifestations of barbaric, militancy and extremism. He asked the workers to visit the victims’ families and the injured ones to express solidarity with them.

Former President said that the attacks on citizens and security forces and the bloodletting of innocent people cannot and must not be allowed to go on with impunity. He called for immediate, decisive and credible measures to stop this barbarism.

He prayed to Almighty Allah for eternal peace to the departed souls and early recovery for the injured. He also sympathized with the bereaved families. DNA
