Sharifs discuss taking back Javed Hashmi in PML-N: Sources
LAHORE, (DNA) – Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif have met to discuss the possibility of taking Javed Hashmi back in PML-N according to sources.
The meeting between the Sharifs took place on Sunday. The sources suggest that Sharifs discussed various issues in the meeting including ongoing party affairs, upcoming hearings related to accountability cases and a possible meeting with Javed Hashmi on Monday.
It was discussed that Nawaz Sharif may invite Javed Hashmi to rejoin the party. However, certain reservations of other Party members were also considered regarding the issue including that of Kalsoom Nawaz’s reservations.
According to the sources from within the Sharif family, Javed Hashmi did not honor the insistence of Kalsoom Nawaz to stay in PML-N when he decided to join PTI.
The sources added that Begum Kalsoom does not much interfere in party affairs but she exlusively insisted Javed Hashmi to stay in PML-N but he refused and walked off from Khawaja Saad’s house where meeting was held.
