Eid Milad-un-Nabi (P.B.U.H) being celebrated with religious zeal
LAHORE, (DNA) – Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) is being celebrated with religious zeal and fervour in Pakistan and across the world on Friday.
The sacred day dawned with 31-gun salute in Islamabad and 21-gun salutes in all the provincial capitals to pay homage to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Special prayers offered after Namaz-e-Fajar for the unity of Muslim Ummah, progress and prosperity of Pakistan and early liberation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The federal government had announced public holiday in all educational institutes and government offices for the occasion. Various organizations have arranged special events and ceremonies to mark the occasion.
