Khawaja Asif to address gathering at USIP today
WASHINGTON, OCT 05 (DNA) – Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif will address a gathering at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington.
Asif will deliver remarks on Pakistan’s reaction since the announcement of the new U.S. strategy for Afghanistan and South Asia. He will discuss the dynamics between Pakistan and its neighbours, the role of regional players such as China, Iran and Russia, and the future of US-Pakistan relations.
Khawaja Asif is also scheduled to meet US National Security Adviser Lt Gen HR McMaster today. He will also brief the US media. He will return to New York in the evening.
