Ghulam Haider Thebo replaces Mushtaq Mehar as Sindh AIG
KARACHI, JUL 17 (DNA) – Chairman of Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Ghulam Haider Thebo has replaced Mushtaq Mehr as Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Sindh on Monday while Mehar is to perform duties as AIG of traffic police.
The development has come in after Sindh Chief Secretary issued a notification today of inter-department shuffling of senior police officers.
Thebo is now to serve as AIG of Sindh, Mehr as AIG of traffic while Khadim Hussain Bhatti (traffic AIG) will be performing duties as AIG of research development and inspection.
Aftab Pathan has been appointed crime branch IG and Sardar Abdul Majeed Dasti AIG Sindh.
Dr Amir Sheikh is to serve as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) technical and transport, Imran Yaqoob Minhas as traffic, license and training DIG while Mazhar Nawaz Sheikh as Security DIG.
According to the notification, the fresh appointments are immediately effective.
