Ishaq Dar rejects Panama JIT findings about no tax returns filed
ISLAMABAD, JUL 17 (DNA) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has rejected the findings of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for Panama case in which the report reads he didn’t file income tax returns from 1981-82 to 2001-02.
He raised his objections saying that the JIT wrote false facts in its report, declaring the accusations false and baseless. Dar said National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had already investigation the tax returns of him and his wife.
Finance Minister claimed that all his assets were declared in the tax returns. “It is disappointing to declare charity givers as tax evaders,” he complained.=DNA
