Nawaz in hot water as report found him Dubai employee while serving as PM
DUBAI, JUL 17 (DNA) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has worked as ‘Chairman of the Board’, for the offshore company, Capital FZE, from August 7, 2006 to April 20, 2014. During this time, he was receiving a salary of AED 10,000 (PK Rs. 286,000), reported Al-Araboya
PM’s family has overtly dismissed the report claiming that work status was acquired for obtaining visa only. Hussain Nawaz stated that work status for PM was acquired to obtain visa whereas company was dissolved in 2014.
Panamagate joint investigation team (JIT) made this startling revelation during probe and interrogation with Jebel Air Free Zone (JAFZA).
Justice (retd) Shaiq Usmani, talking to Al-Arabiya, hinted at PM’s disqualification as Pakistan’s constitution bars individual to chair public office and private job simultaneously.
Pakistanis residing in United Arab Emirates (UAE) have deplored the aforementioned finding regarding Nawaz Sharif.
“The fact that our sitting prime minister has been breaking Pakistan’s law in order to get a visa for the UAE is disgraceful. Our heads should bow down in shame,” said Dr Salman, an orthopedic surgeon working in UAE for over a decade.
