Naz Baloch leaves PTI to join PPP
KARACHI, JUL 16 (DNA) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naz Baloch has joined Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Sunday.
She made the announcement while addressing the media along with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and senior PPP figure Faryal Talpur at the party’s media cell.
Naz said,“I’ve returned home as my father laid down the foundation of the PPP alongside Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto”.
She further said, “I am a representative of Sindh. I disagree with the PTI’s policies which focus only at Punjab and the centre’s politics,” she said.
She further said that it is not surprising that the party’s support has declined in the city. She claimed the party that wanted to bring about ‘change’ has itself changed now.
Baloch said the youth is being better represented by PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Reacting to Baloch’s shift, PTI leader Shafqat Mehmood, commented that she was not a national party leader but a local representative.=DNA
