ISLAMABAD, JUN 13 (DNA) – University students on Tuesday demanded Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Dr Mukhtar Ahmad for reducing degree attestation fee.

the students said they already paid heavy tuition fees at universities and then subsequently had to pay high charges to obtain attested degrees from the commission which they called an outright injustice.

They further claimed that despite charging these heavy fees, the HEC officials prolonged the process of attestation, adding that their behaviour was not appropriate with the students.

It is pertinent to note that HEC is charging Rs 800 for attestation of original documents.=DNA
