Dawn Leaks notification to be reissued in two days: minister
KARACHI, MAY 07, (DNA) – Minister of State for Broadcasting and Information, Marriyum Aurangzeb has asserted on Sunday that a detailed revised notification over Dawn Leaks probe report would be issued either tomorrow or day after tomorrow.
While talking to the media in Karachi, the minister said that the Ministry of the Interior would issue the revised notification within two days. She said that Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Minister for the Interior called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today as well in Islamabad.
She said that the federal government has permitted freedom of expression at every level. Any incident should be reported but not ‘created’ to be reported, the minister said.
Aurangzeb said that it would be inappropriate to comment on Dawn Leaks. Last month, military rejected the notification issued after sacking Advisor to PM on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi over probe report of Dawn Leaks.=DNA
