PM would have resigned if he had any shame: Imran Khan
DADU, APR 23, (DNA) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would have stepped down following the Panama Case verdict if he had any shame.
Talking to media on Sunday, he urged the leaders of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz to convince their premier to resign.
He stated, “The judges hearing the case have said that the prime minister is neither ‘Sadiq’ nor ‘Ameen’. How will the institutions function under him?”
“Those distributing sweets following the Panama Case verdict are stupid,” the Tehreek-e-Insaf chief said.
The PTI chief said that PM Sharif and Co-Chairman of Pakisan People’s Party (PPP) are corrupt individuals. “Both of them have been looting the country for the past 30 years,” Khan said.
He said that Zardari is corrupt but not a hypocrite.
He urged the nation to take to the streets for the future of their children.
