Pakistan, South Africa sign a MOU on defence cooperation
ISLAMABAD, MAR 27, (DNA) – Pakistan and South Africa have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on ‘Defence and Defence Industrial Cooperation.
The document was signed during the visit of South African Defence Minister Ms. Nosiviwe Mapisa-Naqkula in Islamabad on Monday.
Under the MoU, a Joint Defence Committee will be constituted to pave the way for strengthening and diversifying bilateral defence cooperation.
It calls for cooperation in training of the armed forces officers and soldiers, acquisition of defence equipment and joint ventures.=DNA
