Joint check posts set up to enhance security, surveillance on motorway
RAWALPINDI, FEB 26, (DNA) – Security forces have set up joint check posts on motorway to enhance security and surveillance as part of ongoing operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
“Pakistan Army, Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) and police established joint check posts on M-1 and M-2 (Motorway) to enhance security and surveillance,” ISPR said.
Earlier this week, Pakistan Army launched countrywide “Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad” aimed at indiscriminately eliminating residual/latent threat of terrorism, consolidation gains of operation made thus far and further ensuring security of the borders.
The efforts entail conduct of Broad Spectrum Security/Counter Terrorism operations by Rangers in Punjab, continuation of ongoing operations across the country and focus on more effective border security management.
Country-wide de-weaponisation and explosive control are additional cardinals of the effort. Pursuance of National Action Plan will be the hallmark of this operation.=DNA
