Increase in petroleum prices challenged in LHC
LAHORE, FEB 02, (DNA) – Increase in the prices of petroleum products has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC) today.
According to details, the plaintiff has demanded to return the additional sales tax.
The federal government had increased petroleum prices for fifteen days. The finance minister Ishaq Dar told that petrol prices have been raised by Rs2.25 which makes it Rs70.29 per litre.
Moreover, the new price of high speed diesel is Rs79.48 per litre after a hike of Rs2.26.=DNA
