CPEC projects under smooth implementation: China

ISLAMABAD, August 13 (DNA): Ambassador of China to Pakistan Sun Weidong Saturday said that numerous projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were being smoothly implemented.
Talking to media at the groundbreaking ceremony of Shorkot-Khanewal section of M-4 Motorway between Multan and Faisalabad, he hoped that in the next two or three years different power and infrastructure projects would be completed.
About the launching of M-4 section, he felicitated the government and said it was an important project being financed by the multiple international financial institutions, including Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) etc.
The project was being constructed by the Chinese companies, he said, adding together with it, other road infrastructure projects under CPEC would help Pakistan improve its transport system and facilitate people. DNA
