Naval, PAF Chiefs witness exercise ‘Sea Spark’
ISLAMABAD: Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah and Chief of Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman on Monday witnessed the ongoing exercise “Sea Spark.”Both the Chiefs flew by the Karakorum Eagle-03 AWACS aircraft for a surveillance mission. After observing the exercise from the air both the chiefs went on board Pakistan Navy (PN) ship to witness the ongoing activities at sea. While interacting with the participating crew, both the Chiefs expressed satisfaction over the professionalism and synergy between Pakistan Navy and PAF.
Exercise Sea Spark has provided an opportunity to validate the joint war fighting concepts.
Chief of Naval Staff appreciated the professional commitment, joint operations and the combat potential of AWACS in maritime operational environment and said, this exercise has given exposure to the Air and Naval crews in near realistic environment.
