Pakistan beats Bangladesh in 1st Women T20 Cricket Match by 29 runs

KARACHI: Pakistan women cricket team on Wednesday defeated Bangladesh by 29 runs in first Twenty20 in Karachi.
Pakistan captain Sana Mir decided to bat first after winning the toss and gave target of 125 runs to Bangladesh team who only managed to post 95/7 in 20 overs.
Vice-captain Bismah Maroof, declared as player of the match, played a stunning innings of 65* and snatched a 28-run victory against Bangladesh.
The second Twenty20 will be played on October 2 and the two one-day matches will be played on October 4 and 6.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has promised foolproof security for the Bangladeshi women s team, with players staying at the same club where they will play their matches.
PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan said last week the women s team tour is part of his gradual efforts to revive international cricket in Pakistan.
