Peshawar Umrah pilgrims allowed to travel without vaccination until Oct 25
PESHAWAR, Oct 16 (DNA): Border Health Services has extended the deadline for Umrah pilgrims departing from Peshawar to travel without vaccination until 10 a.m. on October 25, providing additional time for travellers to meet the requirement.
Border Health Services focal person Ghulam Murtaza Shah said the exemption would apply to all Umrah pilgrims departing from Peshawar within the extended period.
He clarified that vaccination would become mandatory for all Umrah pilgrims departing from Peshawar airport after the deadline, and airlines would not be allowed to board unvaccinated passengers.
To facilitate pilgrims, vaccination services are available at the Federal Government Medical Centre on Shami Road in Peshawar, he said.
Border Health Services has formally informed airlines and travel agents about the revised deadline and issued necessary instructions to ensure compliance.
