Dar launches renovation of Foreign Office Mosque in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD, OCT 3 /DNA/ – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion and renovation of the Foreign Office Mosque here on Saturday.
The expansion project will increase the mosque’s capacity and upgrade its facilities to meet the growing need for more spacious prayer facilities for the officers and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Tariq Bajwa, the Acting Foreign Secretary, along with officers and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the ceremony.
The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to providing improved worship facilities for the staff of the Foreign Office.
