Under the directions of Federal Minister for Interior Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and effective supervision of Chairman CDA, CDA’s extensive efforts for plantation, landscaping and beautification efforts are  underway across Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, SEP 29 /DNA/ – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has intensified its extensive tree plantation drive across Islamabad under the directions of Federal Minister for Interior Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and the able and effective supervision of Chairman CDA, with a comprehensive focus on enhancing the beauty, greenery, environmental and tourism friendly federal capital.

As part of this extensive initiative, plantation, landscaping and beautification activities are being carried out across Islamabad, including major roads, green belts, parks, recreational areas, public spaces and other suitable sites. The initiative is aimed at further strengthening Islamabad’s distinctive green character and creating a cleaner, healthier and more attractive environment for citizens as well as domestic and international tourists.

The intensified plantation drive is a key component of CDA’s broader efforts to further transform Islamabad into a beautiful, clean, green, safe, environment friendly and tourist friendly federal capital. Special emphasis is being placed on enhancing green belts, improving public spaces, strengthening roadside greenery and beautifying prominent locations and major corridors across the city.

Under the able and effective supervision of the Chairman CDA, Environment Wing of CDA is actively engaged in tree plantation and landscaping activities across Islamabad very vigorously. The Chairman CDA has directed the concerned formations to ensure that plantation is undertaken at suitable locations and that newly planted trees and green areas receive proper care and maintenance. The focus is not only on plantation but also on ensuring the healthy growth and long term sustainability of the green cover.

The expansion of Islamabad’s green landscape will contribute significantly towards improving the overall urban environment.
