NEW YORK, Sep 23: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Bulgarian Foreign Minister Dr. Velislava Petrova-Chamova reviewed the entire spectrum of Pakistan-Bulgaria bilateral relations and expressed their desire to further strengthen ties through enhanced and regular political and economic engagement.

The two ministers met on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York where they also exchanged views on regional and global developments, a press release issued by the Foreign Office said on Wednesday.

DPM/FM underscored that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable means of resolving outstanding issues and reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for diplomatic efforts to resolve regional issues.

Both agreed to stay engaged and expand cooperation across areas of mutual interest.
