16 martyred, 57 injured in Kohat Police Line Mosque Blast
KOHAT, SEP 18 /DNA/ – A blast occurred in the Police Lines Mosque in Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during Friday prayers, security sources said.
Police sources have confirmed that, according to information received so far, 16 people have been martyred in the Kohat police mosque bombing. Fifty-seven people were injured in the explosion.
Security forces and police have cordoned off the area, while a search operation is underway.
Multiple people were martyred and injured in the explosion.
Security forces personnel reached the site and launched a search and rescue operation, according to security sources.
The injured were immediately shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Kohat, security sources said.
Treatment of injured police personnel and civilians is underway at CMH Kohat, security sources added.
