FM Dar, EU envoy review rapidly evolving regional situation
ISLAMABAD, Jun 28: Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and European Union High Representative/Vice President (EU HRVP) Kaja Kallas, Sunday, reviewed the rapidly evolving regional situation.
The DPM/FM spoke with the EU HRVP.
European Union High Representative/Vice President Kaja Kallas appreciated Pakistan’s sincere efforts culminating in signing of the Islamabad MOU, however she expressed serious concerns at the recent ceasefire violations and stressed that channels of communication must remain open, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.
The DPM/FM apprised the HRVP about Pakistan’s continued diplomatic efforts towards a comprehensive framework for peace and stability in the Middle East.
He further emphasized the necessity for all parties to abide by the ceasefire agreement.
The two sides agreed to maintain close contact.
