Minister seeks report on girl’s death
LAHORE, Mar 28: Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic
death of a minor girl caused by the collapse of a drain wall in Mochi Gate, Lahore.
Taking immediate notice of the incident, he sought a detailed report from the authorities concerned and directed
them to ensure a thorough and transparent inquiry.
The minister said that those responsible for negligence or misconduct would not be spared under any circumstances,
adding that strict legal action would be taken against all those found guilty. He emphasised that exemplary punishment would be ensured to prevent such incidents in the future.
