Science And Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi, Meets Huawei’s Deputy Ceo Ray Yu
ISLAMABAD: APR 10 (DNA):Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi, held a meeting today with Huawei’s Deputy CEO, Ray Yu, to discuss avenues of cooperation in the field of digital transformation.
During the meeting, Ray Yu expressed Huawei’s keen interest in partnering with the Government of Pakistan to accelerate digital transformation across various sectors. The minister appreciated Huawei’s contributions, stating, “Huawei and other Chinese companies have played a pivotal role in strengthening Pakistan’s IT infrastructure.
” He further emphasized that both the public and private sectors are committed to transforming Pakistan into a regional technology hub.
“The integration of modern technology will significantly enhance productivity in both agriculture and industry,” the minister added. Highlighting China’s expertise, the minister noted, “China’s experience in developing a robust digital economy serves as a guiding light for Pakistan’s own digital journey.
