Heavy rain turns red on Iranian island surprising netizens
Heavy rains at the Red Beach in Hormuz island of Iran have caused red floods sparking the interests of netizens, who are astonished by the magnificent view.
The videos showing red water as a result of heavy rains flowing throughout the Red Beach have gained immense attention on the internet.
It is worth noting that the land in Hormuz Island is highly concentrated with iron oxide leading to red beaches and vivid red waves.
Moreover, the reddish ochre on the island and its beaches, called Golak by natives, has been used for artistic and culinary purposes, and also attracts tourists.

The Iranian island also has a forest of mangrove trees. Additionally, sea forest has trees that live in the saltwater tidal area.
Sometimes most of them are submerged in the sea water, but continue to survive. There is a grassy area that grows without the need for freshwater.
Furthermore, the mountain being on the shoreline, makes the red beach and red sea waves an unusual sight.
Visitors, who walk along the shore will encounter areas where sand glitters with metal compounds.
