Governor Punjab nominates Waqar Bakhtawari as member of the Syndicate of Chakwal University
ISLAMABAD, NOV 1 /DNA/ -The Governor Punjab Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman Khan has nominated Waqar Zafar Bakhtawari, President, Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the Person of Eminence and Member of the Syndicate of the University of Chakwal for a period of 3 years.
The Higher Education Department of the Government of Punjab has issued a formal notification for the nomination of Waqar Bakhtawari as Member of the Syndicate of the University of Chakwal.
Commenting on this development, Waqar Zafar Bakhtawari thanked the Governor Punjab Muhamad Baligh ur Rehman Khan for reposing confidence in his abilities and nominating him for this prestigious position.
He said that as member of the Syndicate of Chakwal University, he would contribute his best to raise the educational standards of the University of Chakwal to bring it at par with the top-ranking universities of Pakistan.
Waqar Bakhtawari said that Pakistan is a country of very young population and by providing the youth with the high-quality education, this great asset can be transformed into a huge dividend for the country to drive it on the fast economic growth.
He said that he would specifically focus on promoting entrepreneurship in youth so that they could start their own business and contribute more effectively to the economic development of the country. He was of the view that the induction of qualified persons from the private sector in the executive body of universities would be helpful in improving the educational standards and turning universities into the centers of excellence for the youth.
