First Search & Rescue Team Arrives in Turkiye from Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, FEB 7 /DNA/ – As announced by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Pakistan’s first rescue and relief teams have arrived Turkiye this morning.
A C-130 carrying 33-members contingent of Pakistan Army’s Urban Search and Rescue USAR) arrived in Turkish city of Adana today (7 February).
In coordination with AFAD, the Turkish disaster management authority, the teams are immediately being dispatched to the affected areas.
Pakistan will continue its rescue and relief efforts with the deployment of USAR teams and relief material.
Pakistani nation once again extends its solidarity with our turkish brethren during these testing times.
