Kyrgyz president to visit Pakistan
Both sides agreed to further cement bilateral relations

ISLAMABAD: The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov is likely to visit from Pakistan in the first half of this year.
Ulanbek Totuiaev Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan announced this during his meeting with the met with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif. He added, during the meeting, the parties considered a wide range of topical issues of Kyrgyz-Pakistani bilateral cooperation, paying special attention to qualitative organizing upcoming visits and events at the highest and high levels, strengthening military-technical, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, as well as the implementation of important regional projects, such as CASA-1000. Ulanbek Totuiaev informed the Pakistani side about the interest of the Kyrgyz Republic in the comprehensive development of interstate cooperation and proposed to intensify work on political contacts, increase the volume of mutual trade, intensify investment cooperation and establish effective logistics routes between Central and South Asia.
