Umrah pilgrims suffer as flight delayed for five days at Multan Airport
ISLAMABAD, JAN 10 (DNA) — As many as 300 Umrah pilgrims from different cities are facing a great deal of inconvenience at Multan Airport as the flight of a private airlines, that was scheduled to fly on January 5, is yet to leave for its destination.
The Umrah pilgrims, among them are elderly men and women too, are forced to camp at the airport in cold nights as the flight PA876 of Airblue, that was scheduled to leave for Madinah on January 5 last, is continuously being delayed. The passengers said that the administration was continuously delaying the flight.
They complained that they had run out of money by staying at the airport for so long. “We have families with us here. The administration has not yet taken any step for solving the problem,” they regretted. They also demanded that the higher officials take notice of the delay in the Airblue flight and resolve the issue soon. = DNA
