New Dutch envoy wishes to work closely with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Ms. Henny FdeVries, Ambassador-designate of the Netherlands has said she is looking forward to a positive working relationship with the government of Pakistan. In her video message after arrival in Pakistan she said, she was also looking forward to working closely with the civil society, media, business community, minorities and women.
Ambassador Henny further said she plans to further strengthen trade and economic relations with Pakistan during her tenure.
She said, she came to Pakistan at a very critical juncture when the country is hit by the worst-ever due to torrential rains and floods. In the Netherlands we stand by the people of Pakistan. ‘ I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the affected families and wish a speedy recovery to the injured’, she added.
